Can't "continue" after level complete.

twice now during my playthrough I will make it to the end of a level and it just wont accept my input to go to the next level for whatever reason. Very frustrating. I alternate spam between Pressing Space and "A" and the prompt changes, but it doesnt accept either input.

Only solution is to force close the game and restart the chapter.

I don't recall the 1st time it happened, but this most recent time was the end of Chapter 5 on the Purple Floor.

Edit: Okay its happened 3 times in a row now so I guess im just giving up until I get a response or this is patched. Same thing everytime, I make it to the "level complete" screen of Chapter 5 purple floor where its "auto moving" and then it just wont let me continue past that screen.

Otherwise great game so far, hope this can get resolved sooner than later lol

Yes, its when I reach the "level complete" screen. It says Press "A" to continue in the bottom right and it wont accept the input, just nothing at all happens when I press it. Then when I press spacebar on the keyboard it switches to saying Press "space" to continue. So the game is obviously registering an input because its detecting i pressed something on the keyboard, but for whatever reason the game just isn't moving past that screen.

I will record me playing through it one more time and see if it happens again, if it does ill upload it to youtube and post the video here.

Okay so I just did it ONE more time, but this time i skipped both the secret portals, and this time it worked perfectly fine. So maybe its somehow tied to doing both portals during your first playthrough? or maybe it was just coincidence.

I'm glad it worked. I uploaded a patch a couple of hours. I reset the "Level Continue" menu and did some test and passed through. Maybe it works now. I'll do another test with that level but this time I'll go through the collectible and see if I can catch the error. Thank you so much for your patience.

I just went back to the level to do the time trial and it gave me the "cant continue" bug again at the end. So it doesn't have anything to do with the portals.

I see. I watched your video and noticed that the A button switches with SPACE. Like it gets stuck recognizing the gamepad and the keyboard. Could you try to unplug the controller and press SPACE. Just to find out the error. Thanks!

Its switching because I'm pressing both back and forth on purpose to try and get it to register one of them. Unplugging doesnt help.

I'm having the same problem. The first time was Chapter 5 of the Red Level and now Chapter 5 of the Purple Level, where it's happened twice in a row now. I also did not get either secret portal and I am using a controller.

It does seem to switch between keyboard and gamepad input even if I'm just hitting the A button. The hit space button flashes very quickly as I'm mashing the A button to continue.

EDIT: I disconnected the controller and the game did not allow me to switch to mouse/kb. I also refuse to play through Chapter 5 with just the mouse/kb attached. I haven't used that once and don't feel like learning the controls for the game all over again.

Im not entirely sure what was different when it finally worked for me, it just ended up randomly working after the 4th try for me. As a temporary fix @victor.velasco you should maybe just add an exception to that level end screen so it automatically advances without needing input, until you can figure out the exact issue.

I'll just make a timer for the moment and when 5 seconds pass, the game will continue automatically.

I found the problem that was happening. Now there shouldn't be any problem. I just updated a patch.
