I applaud your decision! Other developers would rather leave their game broken until stuff is eventually patched, than roll back a big update. Kudos on having the guts to do this!

I hope you could launch the crossplay update soon because some of my friends have the game in Epic, and I have here in Steam 2 DLCs so I prefer to play from Steam :(

Only true as long it was for free in Epic. Currently it is cheaper to buy on Steam platform.

I can't play PC Crossplay with EPIC friends even after adjusting the settings. The Team 17 list also displays offline, online, and inline instability and does not allow invitation session creation.

We rolled the patch back, so the crossplay update is not available unless you opt in on the beta branch.

Are there any updates on this? An estimate so we can know if you're at least close? The beta didn't work for me, so I've been playing with my friends on Epic, but since I have all DLC on steam I'd really like to be able to use it.
