Experiencing issues playing Overcooked 2 after updating the Mac system to Sonoma 14.2.
Prior to entering the game, the keyboard and mouse function normally. I can use the keyboard to press the space bar and access the main interface. However, subsequent to that, both the keyboard and mouse become unresponsive, rendering me unable to click with the mouse or interact using the keyboard. It appears that the game doesn't recognize input from either the keyboard or mouse after updating my Mac system to Sonoma 14.2. Hope this issue gets resolved promptly.

Hey there,

Thanks for getting in touch with us - sorry to hear you're having issues with your inputs in Overcooked! 2.

Can you please confirm if this began occurring after installing the Sonoma OS update for Mac?

Let's check that the game has the correct permissions. To give the game access to your Mac, please follow the steps below:
  1. Open your Apple menu > 'System Preferences'
  2. Click 'Security & Privacy'
  3. Click 'Privacy'
  4. Click 'Accessibility'
  5. Select the tickbox next to Overcooked! 2
Then save the change and launch the game.

If the issue persists, let's try to check your game installation to make sure that no corrupted files are causing the problem. To do this:
  1. Right-click on the game in your Steam Library
  2. Choose Properties
  3. Switch to the Local Files tab and press Verify integrity of game files...
Then attempt to run the game to see if the issue is resolved.

Thanks in advance for any further information you can provide - get back to us when you can.

Regards,
Team17 Support

If it remains unresolved, all Mac users won't be able to play this game after updating their system to the latest version.
