Are the controls for the MAC version fine?

I am trying it out on Macbook Pro. u can use arrows and the usual wasd to move around but using the action buttons in the default mapping (shift, control, option/alt button) ... o m g
Wanted to switch to ps4 controller but the game does not recognize it. It works in Steam but once I start the game it just acts like there is no controller connected.
Now I will have another try with an external keyboard.

I've tried Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons and Xbox 360 controllers, both are supported in Steam on MacOS but not by Overcooked 2.

EDIT: I updated the Xbox 360 Controller driver and now those work, but I'd rather use Joycons because they're more portable.

Yes you can play with the keyboard normally, without external controllers. They aren't very comfortable to use tho, that's why everyone's using a controller.

Yes, I'm using https://github.com/360Controller/360Controller/releases which seems to be the standard thing everyone uses on MacOS.

Hello, I had same problem, I can only enter spaces in the start interface and cannot do anything else.
