Crash when pressing emoji button on macbook

every time i accidentally press the emoji button my game crashes and kicks me out of the match i am in

We're sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Are you kicked from the game to the main menu or is the game itself crashing and closing?

If you receive any error messages or message pop-ups when this happens can you please include these in your reply as a screenshot?

To take a screenshot, please make sure, that you have Steam Overlay enabled in your game

1. Go to Steam -> Settings.
   
2. Click the In-Game tab.
   
3. Check "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game"
   
4. Go to Library.
   
5. Right-click on the game title and select Properties.
   
6. Under the General tab also make sure "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game" is checked.

In the game, press your screenshot button on MAC (F12 should work by default if you press it by holding FN button). Then press bring up the Steam overlay, and Upload your screenshot, make it public. Then simply include the URL of your screenshot on the forum (it should look something like "http...sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=...")

Can you please tell us whether you are playing the arcade versus mode or the campaign?

Let's also try to check your game installation to make sure that there are no corrupted files causing the problem. To do this:

1. Right-click the game in your library
   
2. Go to 'Properties'
   
3. Go to the local files tab
   
4. Click 'Verify integrity of game files...'
