All controls does not work on Mac

I had no problems playing it previously, but last week when I opened the game again, once I enter the game to the home page, all controls does not work. I am unable to click on any selections and keyboard controls also does not work. I tried to start and restart the game, my computer, and also uninstalled it, but none of these actions solved the issue.

Thanks for getting in touch with us - sorry to hear you're having issues with the inputs on Overcooked! 2 for Mac.

Unfortunately, the latest macOS Sonoma update has caused significant issues with certain apps, impacting Overcooked! 2. Our team is actively investigating, yet we're uncertain if the problem stems from Apple or our end. Regrettably, we cannot provide an ETA for a fix but kindly request that you persist in trying over the next few weeks.

As a temporary solution, kindly switch to the Steam cross-play branch. You can revert to the normal branch once the issue is resolved. Please note that if you use a controller, you may encounter issues when playing with this beta version. To install this version, please try the following steps:

1. Launch your Steam client
   
2. Right-click on Overcooked! 2 in your Library
   
3. Select Properties
   
4. Select the Beta tab from the left-hand panel
   
5. Next to Beta Participation, there will be a drop-down menu > select the Crossplay branch from here
   
6. This will now install on your Mac

Once this has been installed, reboot the game and see if the issue persists.
If you would like to play online with friends following this, they will need to follow the above steps and join the Crossplay branch also.
