Are you playing with other Steam friends or Epic friends?
Please could you also share a screenshot of the error with us?
To take a screenshot, please make sure, that you have Steam Overlay enabled in your game
- Go to Steam -> Settings.
- Click the In-Game tab.
- Check "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game"
- Go to Library.
- Right-click on the game title and select Properties.
- Under the General tab also make sure "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game" is checked.
In the game, press F12 to take a screenshot. Then press Shift+Tab to bring up the Steam overlay, and Upload your screenshot, make it public. Then simply include the URL of your screenshot on the forum (it should look something like "http...sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=...")Get back to us when you can.

Are you on the cross-play beta branch?
To check this right-click the game - go to properties - beta tab - check if you're on none or the cross-play branch.
Download the cross-play branch if you're not on this already.
Then attempt to invite or join friends.

Are they able to invite you to a game? Do you receive the invite and can you accept it?
Are you put into the game with them?
Are your PC time and date both set correctly? Can you please make sure to resync them and test if this helps?
Type date and time into your windows search bar - choose date and time settings - click sync now if available and check that the last sync was recent.

Flush your DNS Cache[www.whatsmydns.net]
Can you please ensure your NAT (Network Address Translation) is set to Open or Moderate? You will need to contact your ISP or router manufacturer for information on how to perform these steps.
If you are still experiencing connection issues after performing the steps in the links above and opening your NAT. Can you please tell us the following information?
- What country are you currently living in?
- Steam Download Region (Steam Settings, Downloads)
- What is your internet speed? Internet Speed Test[www.speedtest.net]
- Are you using a VPN?
- What is your NAT set to?

Sorry for taking to long to answer. Basically, is the exact same think that happened to the other dude. When I put the cross play beta mode, and open the “invite” tab, just start an eternal loop.
Try this guide , i dont quite remember fully how we fixed it but it was after this guide , so probably something helps here that you miight not be doing
I also have the same problem too, did u find any solution?
