Automatically moving character

During multiplayer game, character moves left and right on its own without any keys being pressed. The amount it moves can vary and is out of control. I am able to move the character but not well due to this erratic movement. Even when i didn't press any keys beforehand, the charactor moved on its own. There are moments where it works for a very short period but then happens again (sometimes a lot of movement, sometimes less). During solo play, none of this occurs.

Any help would be much appreciated. Has this happened to you guys?

That might be lag you are experiencing if it only happens in multiplayer

Sorry to hear that this is happening - can you confirm if you are playing the game with a controller plugged in? And if so, how many controllers are plugged in and you are using?

Hi there,

I have 2 PS4 controllers and play on PC. Game mode: local co-op.

First I tried playing remotely, then plugged both in - still didn't help.

Afterwards, I tried one player w keyboard, another with controller. No problem with keyboard, but the player using the controller had the same problem of moving character.

Steam kindly issued me a refund.

There is clearly an issue with 2 controllers and devs are only good at asking questions, not trying to solve the problem. Take the 2 controllers and try for yourself lmao
