Sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Blue screens of any kind usually mean that there is a hardware issue but let's see if there is a corrupted Windows file causing this- let's try the below steps to see if it helps:
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
sfc /scannow
Do not close this Command Prompt window until the verification is 100% complete. The scan results will be shown after this process is finished.

I checked all of the below:
1. updated windows 10 and all of the drivers > OK
2. Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic tool > no errors
3 . Even ran Memtest86 > no erros
4. GPU update > have the latest one installed
5. ran a chkdsk > no errors
6. ran a restorehealth + sfc > no corrupted files
7. Even tried to restore windows to a point in may 2021
I can play every game I own for hours, not a single issue.
I play overcooked for 5 to 10 minutes > Blue screen.
I have 76 hours of playtime on the game and since the latest update my PC crashes every 2 levels.
Thanks for your reply.
Can you please try removing any devices such as the controller from your pc, anything you don't need to run the game and test?
Have you updated your Windows after sending your dxdiag to us? As the dxdiag shows an out-of-date build version.
Did you run the memory tool using:
Launch the “Run” box (Windows key + R).
Enter this string: MdSched
Press Enter on your keyboard or click "OK" to run the command.
Can you please also follow the steps in the link to perform a clean boot[support.microsoft.com]?
A clean boot is being used to start your Windows device using a minimal set of drivers and start-up programs.
Windows 10:
- Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
- Click More Details.
- Select the Startup tab.
- Right-click on each item and select Disable.
- On the Services tab click to select the Hide all Microsoft services checkbox, and then tap or click Disable all.
- Restart the computer.
Once this is done please launch the game to see if the issue still continues. To re-enable your start-up programs:
- Follow the steps above again but at steps 3 and 5 right-click and enable all of your programs and services again.
- Then click Apply and restart your computer.
Get back to us when you can.Regards,

I updated windows after my first comment, so it's perfectly logical you don't see the latest build. But that was not the problem.
I did run the memory diag tool via cmd.
I'm sorry but I'm not going to test any further. It's clear to me something in the latest patch causes this. Like I said before, not a single game I own crashes.
I'll deinstall overcooked 2 from my pc, and that's that. Very disappointed, but there are games enough on this planet to play.
I came across this thread today after a friend of mine run into the same problem. We finally found the solution and it was actually really simple, we noticed that she jokingly left her graphics at high and after that she had blue screen every 1 to 2 levels. A few days later we were checking what the problem of her blue screen could be and she changed her graphics to the minimum and after that we had no other issue. I hope this solves your problem too even if I am more than an year late.
Good luck :)
Thank you for getting in touch and sharing your fix to this problem.
We will make sure to take note of this and if we encounter any more of this type of problem be sure to suggest your step. We are glad to hear you and your friend could solve the problem and continue to enjoy the Overcooked! 2 journey together.
If you have any other problems or questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
