Having problem with overcooked 2 on epic games store

Hi, i am currently playing overcooked 2 on epic games, but i have a major problem regarding matchmaking with my friend. I was playing private arcade mode with my friend and for the first round of game is fine, but whenever we want to continue for another map, it will disconnect immediately. I have been getting some error which says "gamelift-ehost disconnected". This error occurs everytime when i connect to my friend session or my friend connect to my session. May i know what does that means? And how do we fix it?

I found out that if you play in a public lobby it fixes your problem.

Are there any fixes or something? My friends and I really enjoyed the game, it just sucks that we need to restart the game every time we want to play another map.
