After you select "Betas", you need to click where it says "None" to open the drop-down menu and choose the cross-play branch.

As Awstrd mentions above, you need to click this drop-down list to choose the cross-play branch.
Once you click this, it will then download the cross-play branch.

Hi T17, I'm also still having Venus' issue where I am a windows epic games playing with my friend who is Mac Steam with the cross-play branch who is constantly stuck on 'Checking [friend's] online privileges...'
I am just wondering if you are still looking into that issue or has it been resolved already?
Unfortunately, this issue is still present for MAC users but not forgotten - our development team continues to work on it. Our sincere apologies for the trouble.

Do you own the game on your normal Steam account?
If so, you can try using the steps above to use the beta version then try loading the game using Geforce now.
If you have any issues, we would recommend contacting Nvidia[www.nvidia.com] for more support on this.

Hi! It needs a betacode. Where can I get one?
You simply need to change the branch from the dropdown and leave the code field blank - the game client should then update. Please let us know if you are having any trouble.

Then attempt to invite again!
