- Select Check for updates
- Install any updates that are shown
- Once this is done, test the game
Then attempt to run the game again.Regards,
Team17 Support.
Thanks for trying that.
Can you uninstall the game, and then check for any Overcooked! 2 files in your PC and remove those as well? Sometimes files are left when just using the uninstall button on Steam.
It may be in the following: ~/Library/Application Support/unity.Team17.Overcooked
Please check through your application support folder for any overcooked files and remove these.
Then do a clean install of the game.
Regards,
Team17 Support.
I deleted the whole Team17 folder in my Appdata and the crashes still keep happening. As far as I know there were no other files in my system. Do you want me to upload my dmp file? I'm not sure how to upload it for you to see.
Thanks for your reply.
There is another Nvidia update that you could do and see if that helps the crash at all.
Could you please then send us an updated dxdiag?
Do you at all use Citrix software?
You can also try the following:
- Type "regedit" in the Windows Search Box on the taskbar to start the registry editor. (run regedit.exe)
- Expand in the following order [Computer > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software].
- About Overcooked -- Find the "Ghost Town Games" folder, right-click and select Delete.
- Close Registry Editor.
- Uninstall the game from [Epic Games Launcher >library].
- Install the game again.
- After the installation is complete, launch the game
Get back to us when you can.Regards,
Team17 Support.

Unfortunately, we're unable to access that folder, however, we're unable to view these types of files. You may include your output log should you wish, however it seems it may be an issue with your operating system itself.
You can find this here: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Team17\Overcooked2
Please contact Microsoft support[support.microsoft.com] if you have changed system files as moving some system files can cause such issues.
We hope that they can help with the issue!
Regards,
Team17 Support.
