Overcooked! 2

View Stats:
Unable to set the game to Full Screen
OVERVIEW:
Unable to expand the game window on MacOS. Installed the game today, ran fine at first. The game window fails to maximise now, and the total size of the window is smaller than the mouse pointer.

STEPS:
Launch the game from Steam.

RESULT:
The window is really small, and fails to maximise.

EXPECTED RESULT:
Full screen game window or configurable size window.

Tried validating game files, restarting steam and mac, taking backup and reinstalling, reinstalling the game from scratch, force killing - everything.

MacOs version: 10.15.7 catalina

Macbook Pro (2018 15")

Hi Something Less Meaningful,

Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Are you able to use Boot camp to load the game and see whether you have the same issue?

Can you try one of the following ways:
  1. Hold the cmd key
  2. Pressing cmd + m
  3. Move the cursor to where the menu bar would normally be and see if you can select Overcooked! 2 and then exit fullscreen
Do you get any graphical glitch issues that occur? Or did you get any while doing the above steps?

Can you please also confirm that you have all the latest iOS updates installed? You can do so by following these steps:
  1. Click on the Apple in the upper left corner of the screen.
  2. Select "Software Update..."
  3. Any updates available will be listed and able to be downloaded or you will be told your software is up to date.
Get back to us when you can.

Regards,
Team17 Support.
Im experienced the same issue. Everytime I opened the game, the window got smaller each time on my Mac M4. Click spacebar and you'll get the full screen. Its a weird glitch,

Hello sakura.valentina,

Thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to read you're having issues while running the game in full screen. Please verify the game files to make sure there's no issue with the installation.

  • Right-click on the game in your Steam Library, choose Properties, switch to the Installed Files tab and press Verify integrity of game files...
  • Attempt to run the game to see if the issue is resolved

Do let us know if this helps.

Regards,
Team17 Support
