Hori Mini PS4 controller not recognized on OSX
Hi,

I've bought Overcooked 2 to play with my children.
The game works fine, but the second controller ( Hori mini PS4, a Sony officially licensed 3rd party controller ) doesn't work at all. The first controller is a standard DS4 and is recognized properly.

For more data about the controller,

HORI mini wired gamepad PS4 0x0f0d 0x00ee
( vendor_id = 0x0f0d, pid = 0x00ee )

Now,
1) The controller works fine : it's properly recognized by my Mac, works fine in Steam's big picture mode, so it's not a controller issue.
2) It's a wired controller, so there are no fiddly bluetooth issues
3) I'm using both controllers wired
4) Whether the first controller ( DS4 ) is plugged or not doesn't matter - the Hori mini is not recognized.
5) My Mac runs Mojave ( 10.14.6, last patches yesterday )

For some reason, the game doesn't see it, and since I bought the game to be able to play with my children but can't, well, the game is suddenly a lot less interesting.

1. Is this a known issue ?
2. Is there a workaround ?

Cheers,
R.

Hi random47,

Sorry to hear that the controller is not working - can you please try the steps below to see if they help?
  1. Unplug the controller
  2. Launch the Steam client and click the controller icon at the top right to enter Big Picture Mode
  3. Go to Settings > Controller Settings and make sure that "Playstation/Xbox/Generic Configuration Support" are all toggled on.
  4. Then simply plug your controller and retest the game.
We hope this helps.

Regards,
Team17 Support.
