Application Won't Open: Data Folder Not Found

OVERVIEW:
My application won't even open! I'm sad because I unlocked all the levels but now I can't play anymore :(

STEPS:
1. Attempt to launch Overcooked 2

RESULT:
On attempting to open the application, I receive a window that says: "Data Folder Not Found.
Details: There should be 'Overcooked2_Data'
folder next to the executable."

EXPECTED RESULT:
I expect the application to open as normal. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this. Can you please help? Thanks!

Sorry to hear that this is happening - let's try to check your game installation to make sure that there are no corrupted files causing the problem. To do this:

1. Right-click on the game in your Steam Library, choose Properties, switch to the Local Files tab and press Verify integrity of game files...
   
2. Attempt to run the game to see if the issue is resolved
