I can make a session in game but it didn't show my friends list. It just go back to the main again.
Thanks for your reply.
Another thing that you may want to try is to run the game and Steam client as an administrator:
- Launch Steam
- From the Library section, right-click on Overcooked! 2 and select Properties from the menu.
- Select the Local files tab and click the Browse local files button.
- Right-click on the Overcooked2.exe file
- Choose Properties
- Navigate to the Compatibility tab
- Check the box for Run this program as an administrator
- Attempt the run the game
If that doesn't help then please do the same for your Steam client:Go to your Program Files (x86)\Steam folderRight-click Steam.exe select propertiesSelect the compatibility tab and click run as adminLaunch Steam and Overcooked! 2 and try to invite your friend.
If none of the steps work for you then please reinstall your Steam client and try deleting the friends you wish to invite, and re-add them.Get back to us when you can.

Sorry to hear you are also having this issue.
Do you mean people who had the game open?
What happens when you send an invite to the other person? Are you inviting from Steam or the game? Please try both if you have not already.
And you've removed each other and re-added?
Get back to us when you can.

I tried this and couple of days later, problem is solved.
1. Check the box for Run overcooked2 and stream program as an administrator.
2. Uncheck the box for Run overcooked2 and stream program as an administrator.
3. Activate Steam overlay while game playing
4. reboot computer.
I think this gonna do well. but more we need is time i guess.
Strangely, time seems to have solved it.
Thank you very much for the report, and great video, Kazlock - we didn't apply any change, it is rather strange that disabling the administrator option fixed it. We can only assume that it was another program taking focus away from the game and changing the setting changed the screen prioritization.
Thanks again, and our apologies for the hassle!

Team17 Support
This is still a problem. Why?
