Sorry to hear you are having an issues with the game crashing.
Thanks for sending us over your Dxdiag information!
It does look that your Nvidia card is already out of date, so let's update this:
- Go to the official NVidia download centre here[www.nvidia.com]
- Using the dropdown menus, fill in your graphics card information and press "Search"
- In the new page, click on Download and then Download again
- Right-click over the file and select Run as administrator
- If you are prompted by Windows User Account Control, click on Yes. The installer will prompt you for an extraction path. Most users should be fine with the default path.
- Once the driver install has completed, the extracted files will automatically be removed from your PC. Choose OK.
- You will next be prompted to accept the NVIDIA software license agreement. Read the contents and then if you agree, click "AGREE AND CONTINUE" to proceed.
- Next, choose Custom (Advanced). Then click NEXT.
- Select Perform clean install and then click on NEXT.
- Once the installation has finished, reboot your PC one more time to complete the installation.
Then retest the game and get back to us.Regards,

Unfortunately the same problem is still occurring. Unsure why - should I include the crash reports as well for better context?
Thank you for trying - can you please try to change your User DPI Settings to 100%?
Once this is done, retest. If it does not help, feel free to change the setting back again.

Tried scaling and unfortunately it didn't work - it only changed the scale for one monitor, and not the main one.
The screen instead freezes on the transition between the main menu now, but does not crash. I can still hear sfx and music, and when I press space or enter, there's a feedback of audio that sounds like main menu buttons. Or if i move my mouse around, there's a car(?) sound as well.
Thanks for getting back to us.
Make sure you have the correct monitor set as your main display in the display settings and then that you are running the game on the monitor you want it on.
Can you please make sure that your Xbox app is up to date as sometimes this can cause game crashes.
Check your anti-virus/firewall is not blocking the game at all and allow if it is.
If you can send us over those error logs (not crash dumps) that would be helpful, thank you.
Get back to us when you can.
Regards,
Team17 Support
Have made sure the Xbox PC launcher is up to date, and the game does launch on the monitor I want it to, but still crashes.
Here's the last error log attempt at launching the game.

Thanks for that - can you confirm if you are using Citrix Workspace, and if so, can you uninstall it and reinstall it via the Windows Store, which is an updated version that doesn't make games crash?

I checked through some old threads as well for some similar problems, and I don't have Duet Display installed as well.
Is there any possible way to control the game resolution from the Xbox launcher? The only remote success I've had has been scaling in this thread (custom scaling distorted UI for my second monitor), although still not playable.
I know that the whole team must be very busy, and are working on a solution - but I think I have found the main source of the problem.
Looking at my error log, it was caused by this file: "d3d11.dll", which is part of my NVidia card. Under the Nvidia control panel, it has to do with your Vertical Sync options - if the selected choice is "Using the 3D application setting", change it either to on/off based on your monitor refresh rate. After I applied this change in my settings I was able to start the game (although now it is very framey) :)
Hope this may help some others.
UPDATE: This was only a temporary fix, after restarting and testing this solution again it didn't work anymore. There is the same problem with the DirectX file.
I have tried the solution of changing my power performance (from this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/728880/discussions/1/1743386053136040411/) to "Ultimate Performance" but that doesn't work as well.
Thank you for the update - do you happen to have MSI Afterburner and/or Rivatuner installed in your system, or anything that might overclock or change your hardware settings?
