My Switch Pro is correctly detected on Steam Big Picture: buttons & tests work.
Even in the Gang Beast game my switch controller is working.
However impossible in Overcooked 2 to get any input response with my Switch Pro Controller
Thanks for getting in touch with us - sorry to hear you're having issues with your Switch Pro controller in Overcooked! 2.
Can you please confirm that your Steam Pro controller is also enabled in the Steam client settings as well as the Big Picture settings? To do this:
- Launch the Steam client
- Click Steam in the top-left of the client > Settings > Controller and make sure the 'Enable Steam input for "Playstation/Xbox/Switch Pro/Generic" options etc are all toggled on as needed.
- Then simply plug your controller back in and retest the game
Can you please also make sure that other controller settings are toggled off in both Steam and Steam Big Picture settings? Can you confirm if you have any other peripherals plugged in when this occurs - this could be other controllers, racing wheels/pedals, joysticks etc?
If so, please can you unplug all of these items and retest the game?
Get back to us when you can and let us know and we can investigate further.
Regards,
Team17 Support
This worked for me!!!
Worked for me as well! Have you tried it with multiple controllers of the same type? I have switch pro controllers and tried using a split keyboard configuration in game but I can't figure out how to apply different layouts to different controllers.
I'm guessing different types of controllers would show up as new keyboards.
