OVERCOOKED 2: Dual Shock 4 control not working on Mac

I recently bought the game and booted it up and connected my ds4 control through USB into my mac and when i got to the home page of the game i pressed X on my control yet nothing happened. so i pressed space bar to pass on to the menu of the game to yet also find that even when trying to scroll through the menu the control did not work. If any one knows how to fix this please help me out, Thanks!!!!!

Just chiming in that I'm experiencing the same problem with my wired pro controller. Works perfectly fine in Big Picture mode but no response in-game. Generic Gamepad Configuration Support already selected.

Only one controller can be used

Workaround successed with my V2 PS4 controller!
but my 2nd V2 controller can't working at sametime.
Both controllers are connected via Bluetooth and can be used in Big Picture mode, but only one able to use in the game.
Show this[ws2.sinaimg.cn] and freeze screen if i plug wired with second controller.
Could you please currently investigating the issue, thanks!

Emm, still not working for my Xbox wireless controller,
I have followed all the processes, file deleted, macbook restarted, bluetooth conected,
but after I started the game and pressing the [X], still nothing was happening, I have to use the keyboard to strart the game.

After I deleted the file "com.apple.Bluetooth.plist" and pair the Switch Pro Controller again. The problem still exists in my Macbook Air. How the problem solved as soon as possible?

I hope you guys manage to fix this problem soon as I'd like to be able to play the game with two ps4 controllers (one wired, one bluetooth) like I do with my other games.

Which version of your OSX? maybe try to update to newest.

What makes gamepad support on MacOS difficult? Does Unity not support this already so you're having to write your own library / input plugin from scratch?

Which version of your OSX? maybe try to update to newest.

Unfortunately everything is up to date, OSX, Steam and the controller drivers.

Sorry to hear about that, I think you should solve Mac problem first(find out your com.apple.Bluetooth.plist)

QQ[tw] - Thanks for the screenshot, this helped me to locate the file. I went through the steps and paired the controller again but unfortunately the game is still not responding to my ps4 controller. I should add that before and after following these steps I was able to use both of my controllers with other games (one bluetooth, one wired).


A question for the devs: is a hotfix being worked on in order to let us mac users play local co-op with controllers?

I installed 360 controller from GitHub yesterday and my PS4 controller worked for the first time!

However today everything went back to before - no controller is working.

PLEASE fix this!

Same issue here - one of us is on mac and ps4 controller is not working, neither wired nor bluetooth! Tried the workaround, no dice.
