Is t he game locked to 30FPS?
Hi!

Used to run Overcooked 1 at 4k highest settings on my Surface Book 2 Nvidia GTX 1060

But in Overcooked 2, regardless of whether up running 720p on lowest, or 4k at highest settings, the FPS counter seemed locked at 30 FPS.

This is a big dissapointment as the game really benefits from running at 60FPS. It just feels a lot more responsive. Hoping this can be resolved.

Is the game locked at 30FPS? Do others' encounter this issue too?

Must be an issue with the game's compatibility with my particular setup. Because I'm runninng Witcher 3, Doom, GTA V at 60 FPS on close to max settings. Overcooked 1 ran at 60fps at 4 k max settings, somethig is not right.

If your using a 4k monitor, then it's very likely 60hz refresh rate and the game is capping it at that. Although "Incognito" says his runs higher than 60fps without vsync so I'm not sure if this is always the case. Regardless, you won't see much difference other than latency when you have a higher fps than refresh rate.
I didn't change any settings and my game runs at 144fps (monitor is 144hz G-sync at 1440p).

As for the original post, I'm not sure why you'd be locked at 30fps. Try with/without V-sync and see if that does anything.

Hey Doctor Kingdom, thanks for the feedback. Yeah I'm outputting at 60hz to a 4k 65" TV (for a more console like experience).

Without V-sync gets me to 60 FPS, but get screen tearing :(
