I found this on one of the steam forums and added some extra steps at the end
Can you please run the game as an administrator and in compatibility mode
1. Launch Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the Browse local files… button.
4. Right-click on the Overcooked.exe file
5. Choose Properties
6. Navigate to the Compatibility tab
7. Select Compatibility Mode and in the dropdown list please select Windows XP
8. Check the box for Disable display scaling on high DPI settings
9. Check the box for Disable fullscreen optimizations
10. Check the box for Run this program as an administrator (if this doesnt work, then keep reading)'=
11. Go back to the compatibility mode, and click on "Change high DPI setting" button
12. Select "Use this setting to fix scaling problems for this program instead of one of the settings"
12. Select "Override high DPI scaling behavior, and choose "system" in the drop down menu.
(I have no idea what these mean, but it fixed the problem for me so yay)
Save, run the game, it should work now!
Can you all ensure you are running the latest Graphics Card Drivers as well?
