Corrupted data problem

I recently launched the game and when it loaded on the screen where it says "Press space" I had a message saying:"Corrupted data" and the game asked me to either press "cancel" or "delete corrupted data". First I pressed cancel and tried to enter the game, but the same message popped up. Then I relaunched the game and the message popped up again! I pressed the delete button, hoping that there is just SOME corrupted data that will be deleted, but the game deleted all of my save files! I then went to see if anyone on the discussions had the same problem and I found a discussion where people were trying to see if you could share the ingame files with friends, and found out that the data gets corrupted if shared to other people or something like that. (I didn't try to share files with anyone)
I am really sad because of this, because i've completed the game AT LEAST 2 times with my friend on 3 stars, one of which I accidently pressed the "new game" button on my only save thinking that it would launch the "new game plus+", not including that we retried some of the levels to get 3 stars or to get the secret kevin level!
If someone knows how to fix at least some part of the problem, please type the suggestion here, this can really help.

What operating system are you running your game on?
Have you ever played the game on your Steam account on a different operating system?
Is your game installed on a C: or a different drive?

Thank you very much for helping me, now I restored my save files!
And also i'm sorry to say that, but the data could have been not deleted, because when I tried to follow the steps to restore my data the data seemed to be already in the correct place, and when I entered the game to see if the saves was there, I didn't have the "continue" button showing up, but when I pressed "load", the save file was there, and I don't remember pressing load when the data was gone. So the data might have said that it was corruprted, but it actually wasn't and I maybe didn't have to get your help and only wasted your time, so i'm sorry for that
