Game Just Stopped in the Middle of Surf 'n' Turf 3-2

I tried a couple of times and the game (the screenplay only, the background music and sound effect remains fine) just stopped in the middle of the surf 'n' turf 3-2, with no particular time of stoppage nor particular action led to the stoppage.

Same issue, same corrective actions taken: re-start steam, re-start PC, re-install game, check for updates to drivers (Intel).
Issue still persists on Surf 'N Turf, level 3-2. Specifically, level will be playable with two people on the same screen/machine for about 10 seconds, then the game will freeze. Sounds are still there and we can tell that commands are still going through based on those sounds (like dashing and throwing etc.).

EDIT! : Fixed it by turning on V-Sync?
This was after making my resolution smaller, succefully testing the game, then re-seting the origional resolution with the V-Sync on.
So i have NO IDEA what i did to fix it, but it's working now.

My game isn't crashing, but I can't even start level 3-2 on Surf 'N' Turf. It shows that it has a one star slot but the level cannot be started.

Would it be possible to see a screenshot when you try to access the level?

To take a screenshot, please make sure, that you have Steam Overlay enabled in your game

1. Go to Steam -> Settings.
   
2. Click the In-Game tab.
   
3. Check "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game"
   
4. Go to Library.
   
5. Right-click on the game title and select Properties.
   
6. Under the General tab also make sure "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game" is checked.

In the game, press F12 to take a screenshot. Then press Shift+Tab to bring up the Steam overlay, and Upload your screenshot, make it public. Then simply include the URL of your screenshot on the forum (it should look something like "http...sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=...")

I'm having the same issue. after loading level 3-2 of surf and turf, with 2 players, it will play fine until 2:59 on the countdown timer, then the screen will freeze. I can still hear the program running in the background (fires, dings, overcooked items) but the screen is frozen. I do not nave NVIDIA so i doubt vsync is the reason. Am on windows 11.
