Stuck at 5-3

I have 71 stars and have just finished 5-3. I could not find 5-4 even I have tried verifying integrity of game cache (successful verification). I'm on Mac OS (MacBook Air). What shall I do?

Do you mean that you could not physically find the level entrance on the world map?

Yes! I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but it still couldn't help.

Level 5-4 is just on the right of the path after 5-3 by going up two ramps into a forest area. If you are still unable to find it, can you please send us a screenshot?

To take a screenshot, please make sure, that you have Steam Overlay enabled in your game

1. Go to Steam -> Settings.
   
2. Click the In-Game tab.
   
3. Check "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game"
   
4. Go to Library.
   
5. Right-click on the game title and select Properties.
   
6. Under the General tab also make sure "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game" is checked.

In the game, press F12 to take a screenshot. Then press Shift+Tab to bring up the Steam overlay, and Upload your screenshot, make it public. Then simply include the URL of your screenshot on the forum (it should look something like "http...sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=...")

If level 5-4 is not appearing, it likely means one of two things.

#1 You have not gathered enough stars to access level 5-4, or

#2 You have not completed all of the earlier levels on that same save file. If there is an earlier level that was not completed, 5-4 will not be accessible even when you complete 5-3. Keep in mind that even if you have at some point played and completed all of the levels before 5-4, if some of those were completed using a different save slot, it is possible some of your progress was not recorded and so you will need to redo those levels before you can access 5-4. You should start from the very beginning of the map and check to make sure you have completed all previous levels on the same save file in which you are trying to access world 5-4. (You can tell you have not completed a level if there is no score beside your name when the travelling chef bus is on the level, or if there is a white flag with a red droplet on it where the level should be). If you see any levels where you do not have a score recorded or there is a white flag with a red droplet on it, complete those levels and 5-4 will open.

I can say that I played a game last weekend with someone who could not get the next level to appear, and it turned out the issue was that they had skipped a previous level, similar to what I described in 2#
