2.35 gb update?

I am wondering about this as well. The latest news update I see is the misleading one that's actually for "Overcooked All You Can Eat" no news about "Overcooked 2" especially about the 2.35GB update.

If I had to guess maybe it is a patch to move the game version forward again. They previously rolled the game back to an older version because of all the bugs that had been introduced.

I guess you're using the beta version of Steam, it has a different way of calculating how much you're left to download or it's just bugged. Gotta check in the library now.

Are you on Windows? If not maybe it's larger on other platforms. If you are on Windows maybe Steam noticed your game has some corrupt files, so those are getting redownloaded as well.

This was after I downloaded the ~2.3GB update this morning. Once Leaffar was saying there is a 8GB update on his PC I checked again... Steam said there was another about about 1GB for me but when I said download it changed to 2.3GB.

I think they rolled back the update again. The networking menu was back to the All Platform Team17 thing this morning and now, after the second update today, it is just the Steam only "Invite" system again.

The overcooked2.exe version also downgraded from 2018.4.32.42077 to 2017.4.8.47092.

They already released the new update while this one was broken (and is still broken).

They didn't bother giving current supporters the new update free, wanting us to pay to get our update in the form of Overcooked All You Can Eat.

There's a dedicated team for Overcooked 2? I wonder why it takes so long to fix this game then...
