Will my friend need to buy the DLC?

I've been playing through the game and getting the game's achievements. To my horror, 28 out of the game's 54 achievements are DLC. We played through the first Overcooked twice together(100% of the achievement on her account, and 100% of the achievements on mine on Remote Play) and now we're playing 2. So my options seem to be:

1.) get her to buy the DLC
2.) play the game on Remote Play with her and deal with the horrible lag we sometimes had to do on the first game and she not get the DLC achievements at all.
3.) Hope that only the host has to have the DLC.

Or something along those lines. The season pass is almost $23 for me and I would feel bad about asking her to buy the DLC. Hell, I'm not gonna buy it right now as I'm gonna have to wait for the season pass to be on sale for like 75% off with how expensive it is.
