Major Differences Between Overcooked and Overcooked 2?
See title. I like the sale price of Overcooked 2 but I don't like how there is so much DLC (nearly $40 worth even on sale).

First of all, you seem to be mistaken about the dlc. There is about $25 worth (on sale), and that is in CAD, so even less if we are talking USD. The season pass includes three of the dlcs, which can also each be bought separately, which is probably where you are getting the inflated price. There is also the "gourment" edition which includes the base game and all dlc for a bundle price.

Second, the biggest difference between the two is the addition of throwing. You can throw raw and chopped ingredients, which is super convenient, but levels are also designed around that fact, so its not like its a direct upgrade. For example, there is a level where you are on separate rafts, and have to throw raw ingredients to the other person to chop them, then they throw them back.

I will always love Overcooked 1 but it is very, very short. The only thing i'd say one does better than the sequel is the boss battle with the giant...er meatball. That final showdown level is awesome fun.

Overall though Overcooked 2 is much better and well rounded.

It says $39 on my screen for all of the DLCs.

Great, that includes the season pass and each DLC individually. Buying the season pass grants you those individual DLCs. Look at the gourmet edition for an accurate cost of everything.
