DLC required for multiplayer?
I'm looking to play online with a friend who purchased the Gourmet Edition. Do I need the same level of DLC for us to match up, or can I purchase just the base game and join their game?

no, only one of you need to have the DLC. if your friend has it then you don't need to buy DLC. You would be able to join him.
