If you use atleast 2 controllers, you have the option of controlling one or two chefs each.
In my families case, the kids get one controller and one chef each, I'll use a single controller and opt to control two chefs. The wife could play (have two more controllers) but chooses not to.
We primarily use xbox Ones controllers (on a windows PC) and one steam controller.
You could probably use any usb controller however.
Slight note - if you are using the steam links internal wireless support for the steam controller, its over blue tooth so the badnwidth isnt that good if you have all 4 on bluetooth. We end up running 18 foot cables and that helps. If you have the wireless dongle for the xbox controllers then it will use wifi opposed to bluetooth.
thank you so so much
