Getting Overcooked 2 to work with Gamecube Controllers

Hey guys,

My friends and I played Overcooked 1 with Gamecube controllers successfully using x360ce, but Overcooked 2 does not work as it should. The controllers get detected but buttons will press with no input, etc. We've redone the configuration many times. Just wondering if anyone has come across this before.

I am sorry to hear you are unable to play Overcooked! 2 with a Nintendo GameCube controller.

The x360Ce program and Gamecube controllers are not officially supported by Steam, so they will not work with Overcooked! 2.

You can play the game with an Xbox 360/One controller, PS4, Nintendo Switch Pro controller, Steam Controller or a generic controller if you have set the controllers up via the Steam Controller settings.

To set the controllers up via Steam, please follow the steps below.
Plug the controller into your PC
Open Steam,
Select Steam Settings,
Select Controller
Select General Controller Settings
Check the controller is detected you may be able to calibrate the controllers by click the Controller icon at the bottom of the screen
Select the controllers you want to use.
Then load into the game.

Hi, Team 17
I can't use my xbox one controller to play overcooked2 and other games. The controller is working on steam but when I play the game it's like there's no controller is connected. How can I fix this problem?
