Is it easy to play this game with keyboard?

I plan on getting this game but only if its easy to control by keyboard.

well i had to mess with the control bindings because the default was hard for my hand. I can't remember what it was originally but i set my pick up item button to space bar and my chop/throw button to the E key. After that, I don't have issues with controls.

It is pretty easy. The default settings can work but you can change them like you want to. I myself cannot imagine how to play this with a controller...

Nice! I will rebind the keys and try them out to see if it makes the game easier to play.

The only problem is that you could only run or throw at 8 directions (for controllers, infinitely many
directions). But it doesn't matter a lot.

Rebinding keys are very useful.

I've tried controller but I find keyboard much easier to use (once keys are rebound).
I use...
WASD - movement
UP - Pick Up/Drop
RIGHT - chop/throw
LEFT - dash
Shift - swap character (I enjoy the challenge of sinlge player too)

I play with default bindings for ovecooked 1, WSAD, shift ctrl alt.
I find it actually easier to aim with keyboard, the throw direction is guaranteed.
