DLC 1-2, can we really get 4 stars with 2 players?

My friend and I have practiced for many times, but the highest score we got is about 1223, yet we need 1300 to get the fourth star.
As we have got all 51 other stars in Surf 'n' Turf, I think we are really good at this game. The 4th star seems impossible!!!
Plus, in all stages in the main story, 4 stars all seem impossible for 2 players.
Can you adjust the requirements? Or show us the way to get them.

Absolutely is possible, we've done it, but its a hard grind thats for sure.

problem with the DLC is, you NEED to have all stars on the first few levels to do the next ones. so if you cant make it, thats it. you cant continue. can we at least cut the arbitrary star requirement for the next levels?

I've done 4 stars on all levels with 2 players but some of them were HARD.

However, 1-2 wasn't that hard... Try to optimize your time by focusing on preparing the recipes whose ingredients you have closer each time they change. You still turn them in in order to get the tip bonus but you don't have to move that much while preparing them :)
