I think it was balanced for 4 players that are communicating with each other.
Can you fix the score and update it for1 or 2 or 3 or 4 players cause is not really the same ^^
Btw the 4th star and so good idea
What about the levels that don't include a tutorial? :(
Some are harder, some are easier. All it takes is a good strategy and decent planning.
Just like old games, you unlock this new difficulty by beating the game. It is not supposed to be easy or something you can achieve after playing the same level for 10 minutes.
Some tips: Always dash when moving around. Focus on the slowest ingredient. Throw stuff whenever possible (hold the throw button and aim for a second before throwing, so you don't miss).
I'm uploading daily platinum runs, for each stage (both solo and duos). You can check it out, steal some strategies, or even ask us to do a certain stage. We will happily help you all ^^

That's not meant as an insult, neither my partner nor I are good enough in all three areas, nor are we likely to ever be if we don't devote a whole lot more of our free time to this game. Maybe even then it wouldn't be enough. I also agree with you about the devs seemingly not having tested it. Given the quality of the game in general I am betting they really did test it, but it doesn't feel that way.

But that's is not a way to play a game, cause is just stacking food and serve it, there is no difficult when you need to do that to have the 4th star
After which the other player can come over and just hand in, while the other still chops prawns.
This makes the whole process faster as you aren't wasting time walking across the room at the start.
Using a similar strategy for all levels so far in two player (only in world 1 thus far) - but they all need to be done almost perfectly to get the score it seems.
@Nathaniel Prime Yeah the score should be a perfect service not cheat like.
@Irony I can only imagine what the later levels will be like >.<
I think this is a bad way of balancing, personally.
and not have the fun sucked out of it.
