Should I buy Overcooked 1 or 2?
Overcooked 1 cost 17 USD, Overcooked 2 cost 25 USD, which one is better worth its price? What DLC?

Overcooked 1 is the better starting point. Less mechanics overall and similar game length for a cheaper price. The DLC for the first game is also good. Once you are done those you could always progress to the second game for more fun.

If you want to play online, besides couch coop, then go for 2. It also adds some cool mechanics that make it better imo.

I am really interested in playing online though, is that a dealbreaker then for 1?

As I've said before, only Overcooked 2 has online co-op, arcade and versus. Overcooked 1 is couch multiplayer only.

Hmmmm, is it worth the 25 USD though? Or am I better off waiting for a discount?

dont forget the dlc is not include with the price

If you play online with someone who owns the dlc you can still play it tho. And even unlock the chefs of Surf n' Turf for good!

I like the first one more... The second one was alright but the levels and just casual cooking are far superior in the first one.

An offtopic but wow the prices do vary by the region apparently! Here in Russia it costs 10 USD with all DLCs! Just damn.

Yup. You won't believe this, but Argentina's currency is so depreciated that the game + all DLC are even less than 10 bucks! (And still a fair thing, considering our situation). God bless Steam!
