If I have the dlc can I play it with my friends if they don't?

so as I wrote already, if I have a dlc, can I play that with my friends if I start a gameserver even if they don't have the dlc?

Yup, they will however not have access to the characters from the DLC. :)

Correct, as long as you host you can pick levels they don't have, I was able to play through the whole season pass without buying it myself thanks to my friend having it. Will probably still buy it sometime though, since it was all pretty good, it supports the devs, and allows me to host, such as with other friends.
