The button promps for the game are all A

I am trying to play the game but all the tutorials only have the Xbox a button and the left stick. the controls work corectly but for some reason all the UI just use those 2 icons. does anyone else have this isue and if so does anyone know how to fix it?

Ive got this exact same problem the origional never had it but only the left stick is doing anything in the prolouge mission it says press a for binoculars but nothing works

the other buttons work how they should but the prompts only show left stick and A.

I can't play seriously this is way too confusing.
It took me twenty minute to understand why I couldn't use the binocular because A button didn't worked.
Well, the game wanted me to click the right stick actually...

you need to turn off steam input or change it template to "gamepad with high precision camera"
