unfortunately not. it's the same reasons that we couldn't connect with Midas Gold Plus. we want to strictly follow the rules.

But I thought ArmorGames allows Steam Tie-in?

They do yes, but there are several conditions on Armor Games in order to allow it. We are a very small studio in order to meet this conditions. For example we should track if a user that plays on steam was originated by armor games and then for every purchase that this user does on steam we should make a payment to armor games. After removing special taxes from each country that the user can be playing from. If we do that we should hire an accountant only for that reason which is out of our capabilities.

After a long discussion about such matters we decided as a studio to spend our resources in improving the game instead.

Is that the same thing with Kongregate too?

no kongregate officially does not allow it. There are a few games that have done it though, some of them published by kongregate and a few others that do it unofficially.

Yeah, if I remember, Kongregrate use a different monetary systems that is hard to incorporate with Steam, so they've banned it since they use gems instead of real money.

What about an export function, so players can export their saved game from Armorgames/Kongregate into Steam?

There is a reason you are allowed to link kongregate to steam and this is pretty much it. With you not doing that and no exporting pretty much rip.
