Terrain Question

So, for a dumb challenge I'm trying to force some basic MS into Space because I wanna make it into a god killer, Tieren Ground Type, Aries, ETC.
But I think the game won't allow me given none of the Support Modifications or Universal Engines work on it (Might be doing something wrong)

I take it they won't let you send an Aries to space?

As far as I know there is no way to force pure ground unit into space and air, Aries is atmospheric though (and counts as fighter jet for some reason) so "Atmospheric-capable parts" (which copy atmospheric to space rating) will work.
"Space-capable parts" meanwhile copy space rating to atmospheric, I use it on many things myself including battleships like Eternal and Isaribi.
