Cross Series Combo Craze
I just finished the all the Quests and Stages and only now started to get really into mixing Pilots and MS from different Series.

My favorite has been pairing Lockon Stratos to Gundam Flauros since Lockon has a natural +1 range right off the bat. That with an added Physical Knowledge Lv. 1 makes the range 11 so much fun long range sniping.

Anyone else have a favorite Combo that they made?

I dunno if anything compares to those, but you can get some funny quotes by mixing pilots between units that have similar-but-different systems.

Like putting Odin in a suit that has Trans-AM when he's used to using PX Systems.

Trans-Am is basically the successor to the God/Burning Finger for quotes, and even some of the DLC from the Season Pass have quotes for it (like Carris Nautilus and Garrod Ran). Other than that, special quotes are usually found by clever references, and character interactions in various ways. A few examples...
  • The first Lockon Stratos comments on his brother's love, Anew Returner, both as an ally and an enemy. In addition, when piloting Gundam Zabanya, he acknowledges that it's a machine built for Lyle and not him, and naturally, the brothers have support quotes for each other. (Apparently there are also a few instances of Season 2 Gundam Meisters acknolwedging Neil specifically.)
  • Mikazuki Augus, Kudelia Aina Bernstein and Atra Mixta all have a quote for piloting the Akatsuki, in reference to the child Mika never got to see.
  • The Generation System/OVER WORLD crew added in the Expansion Pass all acknowledge the Phoenix Gundam in various ways - Code Phoenix and Aplodia make note of the Phoenix relative to their designated machines, Aplodia comments on the Halphas Böse and on the name of "Barbatos" if you put her in those MS, and Code Amelias acknowledges the original Halphas Gundam's power - nods to the Phoenix lineage and that of some other G Generation Original MS.
  • Odel Barnet will comment on the 00, saying it does the Gundam Griepe justice - perhaps in reference to its silhouette when combined with the 0 Raiser being similar to that of the Griepe.
  • Gym Ghingham will comment on his opponents having a "nice voice" if he faces off against Zechs Merquise, Mu La Flaga or Neo Roanoke; all three are voiced by the same person, Takehito Koyasu (who is also the JoJo the Animation incarnation of DIO). Putting him in the Burning Gundam specifically might also trigger him to say "There are no limits in G Gen!", putting him in hot contention with Graham Aker for breaking the fourth wall.
  • And speaking of the Ham breaking the fourth wall, all 3 versions of him have quotes about Gundams if he is put in one, as a reference to his obsession and love for them. Season 1 Graham pulls a Season 1 Setsuna, Mr. Bushido shows his Gundam Bushido, and Movie Graham Aker will actually call forward to the future, using his quotes from Mobile Suit Gundam 00 FESTIVAL 10 "Re:vision" as a Gundam Meister for Celestial Being. In addition, Season 1 and Movie Graham will acknowledge the Gunpla units and Knight Superior Dragon - Season 1 Graham uses his Gundam quotes while adding on acknowledgement of superb Gunpla engineering, a reference to Ricardo Fellini who Graham shares a voice with in Yuichi Nakamura, and if facing off against Knight Superior Dragon, he'll comment on him being a Gundam lifeform. Movie Graham will instead thank G Generation for the fight if he squares off against the Gunpla or KSD in the Final Stage.
  • And finally, for CVs who have done multiple characters in Gundam, their God Finger quotes will often reference them - Azee Gurumin channels her inner Reiji with "Hyper God Knuckle!" through Sachi Kokuryu, and Yzak Joule will actually quote part of the sequence for both his C.E.71 and C.E.73 incarnation (the former has to backtrack his words because he messed up the order, and the latter will ask if his performance was convincing before shouting out "Heat End!"), a reference to the fact that they share his voice with the man himself, Domon Kasshu, through Tomokazu Seki.

Ahh thank you very much sir, yeah trans-am are cool, thank you for all the reference, you comment should have been pinned here IMO hehe

Yeah definitely gonna try all of them, an im in my way to get all Gundam Build units and put the series pilots on them, let hope Gundam Sales doing well here and they bring another SD Gundam like Genesis or a new one from UC era on Steam

Well, if you're already on the way to the Final Stage, then my personal suggestion is actually to put Season 1 Graham Aker into Fenice Rinascita (Ricardo Fellini) and Azee Gurumin in Star Build Strike Gundam (Reiji) purely for the CV jokes. (For stats, though, you may need to work on Season 1 Graham's Ranged stat... it's not great.)
