Save data gone

Hi just started up the game and i see no save games listed. any way to recover this ? i see the steam cloud has data according to the configuration

after some research i realized this game only has saves during the missions that are not completed i realized the other data was not lost.
For those interested i found a way to check and download steam cloud saves for backup or debug reasons.

During missions the game makes temporary auto-saves at the start of every turn. These are overwritten each turn and completely erased after you exit a stage.

The game only fully auto-saves when you enter the dispatch menu.

You will need to make manual saves to play this game. The auto-save system in this game is there to help with crashes, not as a primary saving system. Always save your game before you shut the game down.
