sony know abou this long ago, thats probably why they killed their console market
I could see it being a while before doing another since this and the last game kind of covered most of what has been released in Gundam till now. Wait until a few more Shows have been released so they have enough new Suits to Market a new game. But giving up on releasing all together outside of Phone Games, nah it just doesnt make much sense.
SRW V even managed to get a PlayStation 2018 Gold Prize for selling over 500,000 units; which are numbers even the most lauded entries in the entire franchise; the Alpha and Z series, were not able to reach. Z struggled to break 300k iirc.
If SRW is anything to go by, then the GGen mobage isn't going to change anything.
PSX got 5 GGen, WSC got... 1
PS2 got 4, GBA 1, PSP 3 , 3DS 1, Wii 2
PS4 2 , vita 1, NSW 2 , PC 1
consoles got 13 games , handheld got 9, there is no reason to say GGEN is dead on console
Eternal is likely not meant to replace the series itself on the console-(and PC-)markets.
