And to be honest, that ability isn't worth the hassle anyways. 50 Att and Reaction doesn't make much of a difference no amtter what difficulty you're on, unless you're using a level 1 pilot in a level 1 suit and really need every advantage. (In which case, how did you even unlock a character that has that ability and a unit for them to even do that?)
Astaroth Origin for example has Space Flight. So it's not technically a Ground Unit by class.
Now, if you were talking about the Combat Operator skills where you get bonus Hit and % damage for using a specific size/unit type like Tanks or Jet Fighters, those are actually good abilities that help in all difficulties and can be worth building around.
