Bug quest 20 (Gundam Wing)

Hello. Does anyone knows how to finish this quest? I thought I did everything required, I killed 25 Virgo II and used Wufei to kill Treize and yet, no quest completed...

You sure you did it within 4 turns in STAGE 08?

I'm 100% sure. I know it's not possible to kill 25 Virgo units and treize with only Wufei in less than 4 turns, so I don't know what to do...

I just tried destroying 24 Virgo units and kill Treize with Wufei (thinking there was some translation error somewhere and that Treize is counting as one of the 25 units to destroy), this didn't worked either...

First of all, you're mixing up a quest and a secret condition. You do not have to destroy anything with Wufei other than Treize. Also have you tried destroying 25 units supporting Treize, not the Virgos?

I know that mission was a tiny bit confusing but it's not bugged and it's not that hard to figure out. I can check tomorrow unless you can read the quest for me word-for-word.

Destroy at least 25 Mobile Dolls within 4 turns, then with Wufei defeat Treize.

That's quest 20 and yet, nothing happens when I do everything it asked. By the way, the secret condition is to kill Treize no matter how long it takes, it's Quest 20 that asks to do it under 4 turns AND after destroying 25 MD units (units that doesn't fight with Treize).

Make sure you destroy 25 Mobile Dolls quickly. Starship-link or Raid-link work really well here (also makes it easier to keep track of how many you already destroyed).

Just to make sure: Do not use any of your own Wufei-pilots if you happen to have one in your group. Use the Wufei provided by the episode (he only needs to deliver the final blow).

So I am looking at the quest again and I am not sure what you're missing here. You just have to take down 25 Virgo II's and then finish Trieze off with the Wufei that joins you for the fight and starts near Trieze.

I managed to do it today, turns out I needed to kill MORE than 25 Virgo units before killing Treize under 4 turns.

Trying to not necro but, I'm having issues with this particular quest too I destroyed ALL of the Virgos on the south end of the map along with 1 of the other ships near them and then had Wufei defeat Treize and it still didn't clear it. I'm suspicious it's NOT the standard Virgos near him that need to be defeated and instead the mass of the improved ones on the north end of the map. You CAN defeat all 25 and then some on the south end within 1-2 turns for anyone saying it's not possible, level your units and you can completely destroy them.

The units on the south end near Treize are not mobile dolls. None of the stuff near him counts for this. Go smack the stuff to the north exclusively and then beat him down.

Yeah I feel dumb now for not noticing this sooner, while yes dolls were Virgo 2's in the anime those were test versions, later they got replaced with a proper mobile suit and the game actually keeps that intact xD

The other thing you'll notice is the pilots. The Mobile Dolls have the Mobile Doll A.I. for pilots, whereas Treize's units have humans piloting them.

The game doesn't usually expect you to pay attention to pilots either, pretty sure every other "destroy x amount of units" quests only care about the mobile suit and not the pilot.

Or in this case, the way the quest is worded doesn't make it too clear who is who if you only look at the units and not the pilots, without further context from the show.
