Pilot's Costume/Appearances
i notice that each pilot have like an alternate costume/suit/looks, i only have one question, is there a way to switch out their suits/appearances or we can only use their default appearances?

Only default.

I know, it sucks. I actually like some of their alternate/story-only cut-ins.

But there isn't really a way to alternate costumes on a single character instance. So alternate looks are treated as their own character. Other looks are story mode only appearances.

Some appearances depends on the MS they are piloting as well. For example, Shin Asuka. When piloting the Impulse, he wears the normal Zaft Ace pilot suit but when he is piloting the Destiny, his appearance changed and is seen to be wearing the Zaft Special force aka FAITH's pilot suit
"In cut-scenes" of course.
