Issue with modification achievement
I've finished ALL of the quests but not unlocked the Achievement "Door of Reformation". Are there any mods obtained by means other than quests? :lunar2019shockedpig:
I've checked my purchasable mods against several internet lists for such and can't find a missing part. Did this achievement become bugged after the latest patch?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions to finish this! :steamhappy:

If by mods you mean the mods you can equip your units with, then yeah, some you can only get from farming Dispatch missions.

Maby I should ask this differently, these are the Modification's on my Production list. What am I missing? If I know what's not there I can search what to farm. Just for kicks I bought one of each item just to make sure that wasn't a condition to get the achievement.

You don't need to do dispatch missions to unlock modifications, it's just one way to get some. Some of them are exclusive to dispatch missions but they don't count for the achievement.

If you don't have Vestiges of Victory and Defeat unlocked then you probably didn't do every parts mod quest yet.

You also get parts for entering and I think beating post game.

That's the rub.... I have the achievement "Vestiges of Victory and Defeat." I think that there's either a new part from the patch or the patch bugged the achievement. For example, the "free ingot" stores as a modification part. The only other possibility is that the DLC supply mods are what's troubling me....

All I know is none of the DLC before this Inferno Expansion had anything to do with achievements. You don't even unlock any of those mods for production.

Maybe it's a bug, maybe it requires something from Inferno DLC... Maybe it's a bug and requires something from the Inferno DLC.

Unlocking Vestiges of Victory and Defeat was how I ensured I got all other achievements, really.
Thanks for your input. I'll try selling the ingot when I get home today and see if that solves the problem. I'd be a lil irritated if deciding to hold onto the pretty rock instead of insta selling it bricked the last couple achievements for me.:steamsalty:

Edit:
Tried selling Green Ingot then reloading game to no avail. Will try reporting issue and see if anything happens.

I have that same list of mods and I have the achievement, and counted twice just to make sure, so yeah I think your game just bugged on you and reporting the issue is probably your best bet.

Edit: Looking at my achievement timeline, I unlocked "Door of Reformation" a several hours before "Vestiges of Victory and Defeat", so it may not be a quest issue, but sadly it was several months ago so I can't really remember the process.

Have you beaten all the storylines on Extra Difficulty? I know you don't need Hell because I only finished doing the Hell difficulties for everything like two days ago.

I did send a report and Bandai's rep said they'd look into it. Actually very impressed by the response speed. And no, I have not beaten everything on Extra difficulty. I can repost the rep's reply here. Essentially they just said that you have to have the mods registered and did not make a specific reply about the quests.

There is one problem though: even if a bug affecting an achievement was introduced through the latest update/dlc, even if they fix it chances are that you would still be out of luck without a backup save before getting all the modifications, as the trigger was unlocking them.

I'm also curious to know if this bug is constant or only happens a few times, which you could fix with yet again, a save prior to getting the last modification.
I sincerely hope your suggestion is not the case.... but seems so likely. The one thing I do not happen to have is a prior save file, so yeah.
If they happen to send me an update i'll post it here but without re-doing all the quests again I do not have the means to check if I'm just an odd duck or this is an issue all new players will encounter.
I've only played through the game once but it took me almost three full weekends..... actually I think I saw another post about a "new game+" save... that might be worth looking into if I can get my data back afterwards....

Well as long you backup your save you should be fine, so you could use someone's save, get the achievement and then import your save back, although it would be better forthe game to recognize the achievement directly, but usually this happens for ingame achievement, not client ones...

hate to necro, but i've got the same issue. I've completed all the non-DLC quests and have the exact same list as Second-Hand Memes, but no achivement.

The devs know about this bug and they will fix it in the upcoming patch, so you will have to deal with it just for a bit. What I hope is that the steam achievement will trigger correctly after that.
Second-Hand Memes Jul 14, 2020 @ 6:14pm
THE NEW PATCH FIXED IT!!!!:balloonicorn::cozydarkseer:

I had to play through a mission for it to activate. The one I used was the Sanc Kingdom Collapse. Now I have all the base game achievements counted.:steamhappy:
Thanks again for your suggestions and ..... something Gundamy.....
