Which campaign should i play first, in order to understand the lore of the game?
I must admit i am not very much into the lore, so many characters and situations are unknown to me. Any order i should follow that will actually make some sense?

If you also advise me an order of the TV series would be appreciated

Wing, Seed, 00 and Iron blooded orphans are standalone series so you may pick any you like but.

Play the leftmost of respective series first they're main story which introduce to the universe of their own and are a main storyline, the ones following them are either spin off or direct sequel.

Play any scenario you want, but as stated: The leftmost scenario campaign of each timeline is the main series, as for the tv series release order: Wing, SEED, 00, IBO.

So, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing is my best bet?

And one more question regarding the group dispatch. Is this a kind of mission where you sent your group and you wait for the appropriate time, in order to be finished?

Is the group available for the main story during that time?

And do i have to be online in order for the time to pass?

Actually this game is comprised of four eras that are completely separated from each other. In other words: Four different lores. So you can start from any of the four starting points (Wing, SEED, 00, IBO)

(though gameplay-wise, I'd recommend the Iron-Blooded Orphans era to be played last because it has a very peculiar beam attack resistance in general so it might not be as beginner-friendly as the others. Its 1st stage is the easiest in whole game but the 2nd stage will see a drastic difficulty spike)

BTW if you're wondering about something with a big continuity, that would be something like the Universal Century era that's covered in the prequel Genesis (only available in consoles for now). You'd only have 1 starting point there but the story progression would be very linear.

There is no "lore of the game" to speak of as this game does not have a unifying/overarching story that connects all the series. As a matter of fact, there is no reason for your force to exist(how did your ship and crew come about? What's their mission?) nor is your presence acknowledged at any point in the game. We are the equivalent of dimension hopping ghosts. Heck, there is no single gundam lore either outside of the game. Each timeline has its own events(mostly rehashing the same earth vs colony premise) and even lore about how gundams originate. Each timeline acts as if a gundam never existed and is totally something new.

That said. blackkite's list shows the chronological order for each series in the game.

The series in this game aren't directly connected to each other or other Gundam series.

They're already presented in chronological order of release, and in order of series. Wing Gundam is the oldest, Iron Blood Orphans is the newest.

Just play from Left to Right and you'll get the sub series/spin-offs in order and get a solid difficulty curve. Jumping ahead will potentially spike up the difficulty, especially if you go into a sub-series/spin-off.

Also personally I think you're overthinking Gundam. They're not really that deep, the lore isn't that extensive or important. Especially when you're not talking about Gundam UC (Universal Century) series which aren't in this game.

Yes, none of the Story Scenarios (With the exception of the final scenario) (No spoilers: Just beat every scenario at least once, it'll be unlocked) does refer the player's team.

Judging by the game's difficulty, it feels like you're supposed to play the most recent mission of Wing, Seed, 00 and Iron Blooded Orphans sequentially, though IOB is slightly harder than the other scenarios as beam weapons are useless in the Post Disaster era

G-Unit, I think you can get away with playing once you're introduced to Mobile Dolls in Wing

I mean I played through them in order up until Seed, skipped 00 and went into IBO just because I thought I might find more stuff I liked there.

I was overpowered by the time I finished Endless Waltz, with a handful of pilots that always OHKO anything they attack. Soon after I had my Warships recovering EN and boosting Morale while being able to nuke 9 units in link attacks almost every turn with their huge command range.

And then I started prepping for IBO because I knew about the beam weapon resistance. Though some of my pilots are strong enough that even with beam weapons they OHKO IBO units.
