Can see my Custom BGM but no sound.
I have this problem since launch that i can select the folder and see my music but no sound. I converted the mp3 files many times adjusted their bitrate/hz according to their recommended on their website.... and yet i still don' t hear anything i am now desperate for a solution Q_Q. Does anyone else has this problem?

So you set the custom BGM and replaced the default BGM as well?
blaster Dec 9, 2019 @ 1:06pm
Yes and then went in combat and hear no BGM at all.

Did you make sure the files play outside of the game? Sorry but have to go through the obvious to the obscure.

Yes even on different players and they all play perfect. I even used those songs for OverWorld and they worked fine there.

Sounds like it’s probably an issue with the MP3 files, themselves. I haven’t had any issue importing music. Where exactly did you get this music from and what kind of format was it in before you converted it into an MP3?

I used different converters and most of them were directrly from youtube converted to mp3

That could be a problem, if you are converting YouTube videos into MP3. You might want to just test music you have that was already in an MP3 format.

@op having the same problems using FLAC or MP3, High quality MP3's low quality mp3's even garbage quality MP3's, stuff i've ripped myself or picked up online via converters and alot of stuff ripped from official soundtracks.

haven't gotten anything i want to work i wonder whats stopping me. i'm not about to change all of the sample rates and re-encode in different bit rates hence my giving up

In order to make sure that the game can play the music file properly, you need to make sure that the music files were encoded with the correct settings. Those settings are:
  • Sampling frequencies has to be either 32000Hz, 44100Hz or 48000Hz.
  • The usable bitrates are 32kbps, 40kbps, 48kbps, 56kbps, 64kbps, 80kbps, 96kbps, 112kbps, 128kbps, 160kbps, 192kbps, 224kbps, 256kbps and 320kbps.
It is recommend to have the .mp3 files encoded using Constant Bitrate (CBR) instead of Variable Bitrate (VBR).

all of my mp3 files are using CBR but it seems i am not the only one with the problem yeey xd and they are all converted to those settings. Not using custom BGM ruins kinda alot from me ... Q_Q

Have you tried using a program like Audacity to generate the MP3s? Web converters aren't too reliable, so even after I took some from the net I'd still run them through Audacity to make sure the bitrates & frequencies are constant.
blaster Dec 12, 2019 @ 1:13pm
I did used Audacity but nothing....
