So who's your favourite generic(G Generation Original) pilot?

Aside from Goat being the GOAT, i think my favourite has to be Blood, i just like his overall design and i have him in an Amatsu mina, he really suites the aesthetic. that and he has a good move set and stats.

They are not "Generic pilots", but "G Generation Originals". Generic ones would fall more into the CaC domain.

None of these character are generic... They are G Gen established characters, as was stated above. Generics would be CaC. I’m indifferent to all of them because they are nothing new if you’ve played previous games. I use them as backup and scrap them when I have the pilots I want.

Besides my two CACs i like using Nelly Olsen, Florence Kirishima (as Captain of my Warship), Chapea Charenshi, Eterna Freyl, Elfriede Shultz, Kay Nimrod, Rachel Ransom, and Brand Freeze.

Just my Custom Character, an utterly Sociopathic Child Soldier that takes joy in killing things with high power Mobile Suits, I just like having one of my Characters being as creepy as possible and just being out for blood (Not the Character, the red stuff that comes out of people)

Also: how exactly do you recruit new G Gen Originals? I don't see any in my scout list and no Quests to unlock them either,

All G Gen Originals are unlocked by default, just look your character list.

The Original Characters tend to be based loosely on specific series. I like Luna Mann because she looks like she is from Double Zeta and I think she is loosely based on the side character Milly.

I think it'd be interesting to hear what series people think certain characters are based on.

Mark Guilder's pretty much a protagonist
Eterna Freyl's always a good range
Kay Nimrod always ends up being my goto mechanic early (though don't think she's actually that good)
Elfriede Schultz and Nikki Taylor for command
Blood just cause he looks pissed off though he is a bit mediocre
Goat Logan, Ellis Claude, Ernest Yaeger, Ranaleau Shade are all decent pilots
Koo Sea and Rachel Ransom for guests

Denebola, and Chapea Cherenshi turned out pretty strong, don't recall them from before
