And sadly, this particular company doesn't seem to have considered the PC gaming platforms yet as you'll find no games from Takara Tomy at Steam as of yet.
The cold, honest truth is that Zoids isn't even all that popular in Japan anymore, let alone the rest of the world. The possibility of a PC port for one of the old games is impossible. Regardless of the series lack of popularity the rights seem to be held exclusively by Tomy with limited licensing for the games. I would imagine it would be far more effort then it was worth to make a renewal deal for those old games to be ported to PC.
New Gundam Breaker and SD Gundam Crossrays are only on Steam because Bandai owns the appropriate rights for the franchise and have found a ton of success publishing on PC. On top of that Sunrise is making a big push to make Gundam a more mainstream franchise in America in the 2020s. They have done deals with Fathom events to do Gundam NT when it released and also Char's Counterattack for the movies 30th anniversary, not to mention a live action adaptation from Legendary Pictures due 2021 I think.
So to sum it up....Zoids is sort of a dead franchise and the rights holder for it seems to not be interested in putting the effort and finances in to revive it, let alone grow it. It has spurts, like recently, where it'll kick up a new game. But It's not like Zoids as a franchise is about to have an explosion of new content that will revive the franchise and bring it out of Japan in a big way.
As I said before, your only realistic option is importing the newest game on Switch, which is a fighting game, and deal with it being in Japanese only. They certainly will never dub another game. Only DBZ and Naruto are mainstream enough to get dubs for games. Not even Gundam gets dubbed anymore.
It really doesn’t matter whether a few folks want a Zoids game or not. The series has effectively been dead for years and the publisher that owns the rights doesn’t appear to have the means or interest in bringing the game overseas.
In the end if Tomy doesn't want to expand the series outside of Japan there is nothing you can really do. Bringing a franchise out of Japan is a major expense, one that Sunrise/Bandai already have the means in place to do due to Bandai's established foothold. Tomy on the other hand holds the exclusive rights to the Zoids franchise and they don't seem to keen to share it, which means they don't have the same resources to grow Zoids as a franchise outside of Japan that Gundam has.
