Guess we're not getting another Tom Create game.

I'll just be here desperately hoping that Bandai Namco Studios Inc. makes a 2V2 Gundam game moving on from Tales of Arise. We probably won't get a BB Studios game on Steam and we're definitely not getting more games from Ilinx and Crafts and Meister.

Regarding burned bridges, do we still have SEGA of Japan? Cuz it seems to me that they're going back to releasing games on consoles only moving on from Puyo Puyo Champions.

We just got Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD on PC.

And thank goodness for that. I still wish the Japanese PC scene as a whole would be less terrible, to be honest.

70% isn't high enough.

I hope all the review bombers deleted the game and got a refund. They don't deserve to play after not changing their review once the bug was fixed.

Yes how dare they look at this $80 game launching with a blatantly obvious bug and say "This ♥♥♥♥ is broken." What ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ savages. Don't they know Bandai Namco is just a small indie company, with only a few tens of billions to spend on their games?

Cross Rays fixed itself within 3 hours. This isn't a Fallout 76 situation where the game is still fundamentally broken to this day. Japanese devs new to PC games tend to make a mistake. It actually quite refreshing that the issue was resolved so quickly after release. And judging by the issue it was a old build released since the PS4 version didn't seem to have the issue. Mistakes happen. Just glad they fixed it.
The multitude of crashes and the game defaulting to running on Integrated Graphics even after being forced to run on a graphics card point to it still being broken.

That's a 110% your own hardware problem.

Cross Rays is also not the only game that causes that. It's a graphics card issue.

I've also suffered 0, yes 0, crashes after hours of playtime.

Clearly it's time you either get a new PC or move to console as the issues is entirely due to your hardware.

I've had zero issues with Crashes as well, it absolutely NEVER crashed in all the playtime I have, so yeah, the crashing is likely an issue with the Hardware, and I absolutely hated the review bombing as well, but that's entitlement I guess, Negative Reviews because of a major bug are fine, but if you don't change your review when the bug is fixed quickly, you are either entitled or just a troll.

Ignorance is bliss.

Or in this case, salt.

Reviews are mostly positive now. Give it a few months and they will be overwhelmingly positive. Not that BN cares about user reviews anyway (this game will live or die on sales alone), but this game deserves all the praise it’s receiving and then some.

Yeah and let's just ignore Sega and Capcom with their large catalog of PC games. Capcom being a massive heavy hitter lately with Resident Evil, DMC, and Monster Hunter getting glowing praise on the global stage from huge audiences.

Konami was doing well on PC as well, until they decided to stop making video games.

I've bought up a few NISA games, they've mostly done well except for an exception of Disgaea 5 having all of the multiplayer content cut because their dev team couldn't get it working even with an entire year of delay after pre-orders went live. Otherwise it's still a good port of a good game.

Bandai Namco has a huge PC library of all sorts of games, they've been stingy with their Gundam releases, but what else is new? They haven't even been wanting to release these games at all in the west for decades, and we tend to only get the worst games localized. Otherwise they're one of the biggest Japanese Publishers on PC.

Was that meant to be sarcastically directed at me? Because I mentioned Sega. Who do you think made Yakuza? I don't know what you're trying to call me out for.

No, my sarcasm was not directed at you. More towards OP.

They constantly panic in lots of game forums about how Japanese Devs hate the PC market and that it's our fault for not being over backwards and pretending to love every game they port even if it sucks or was ported horribly.

Then they make bold statements about how there's almost no Japanese developers left who would want to port to PC.

It's true that a lot of Japanese devs and Publishers have aversion to the PC market, but it's mostly because there wasn't much of a PC market in Japan until recent years and it's been steadily growing.

I feel bad for the guy. He seems to want Devs to dump excrement in his cereal every morning and suck it up just so they'll give him the next game he might not like, just to repeat the cycle until he finally gets a game he wants.

It's incredibly self-destructive behaviour, both to their mental wellbeing and their bank account.

Why are you still here?

Bug was fixed almost immediately yet you're still crying.

Go get your refund and leave. You clearly will never be satisfied and just want to be outraged for the sake of being outraged. Like a mere child.

Cute.

Yet no one else has your issues. It's clearly due to your hardware.

"Overwhelmingly Positive" will not happen. That needs 95% postive reviews average.
And to be honest this game does not deserve that rating in any case.
Its a very solid and enjoyable 8/10. But thats it. It does nothing new for the franchise and just reuses the same mechanics as all its predecessors.

95% ratings should be reserved for games that brought something new to the gaming market or are exceptionally well made. Neither is the case here.
